Doom Patrol Code of Conduct

 Our Mission

We will play games first and foremost to have a good time. Maintaining a positive reputation in the gaming community and fostering respect between our members is essential to this end. All players on this team will show good sportsmanship to both members of our clan and those against whom we compete. Doom Patrol is comprised of individuals, but no one can win alone. This clan is devoted to developing self confidence in all of our members and the trust necessary to play effectively as a team. We strive not only for victory but to make each other better players and competitors. Through these guidelines we seek to bring our team the best that online gaming has to offer.

The Leadership Council will be charged with application of the following rules in a fair and consistent manner.

1. Cheats

We must remember that cheats and cheaters are a sad fact of on-line gaming.
So we ask with that in mind not to waste bandwidth complaining about this.

[1.a]  DP follows a Zero tolerance policy. Players caught cheating will be dismissed from DP.

[1.b] Accusing any player of Cheating in public with is not permitted. “Accusations" and

"Proof" are very far apart.  To accuse someone of cheating you must have some form

of "Proof". "Proof" should be but not limited to...

1.      In game Video.

2.      Screen Shots.

3.      E-mail, forum post, or written admission of guilt by the person in Question.

[1.c] "Proof" shall be reviewed by all "Leadership Council Members" before any action is

taken. "Accusations" must be submitted by private e-mail to one of the Counsel

members, not in DP forums or other clan/ladder forums.

2. Conduct

We understand that players will have bad days and sometimes will not be the most pleasant

to talk to, however clan members need to control their emotions. When frustration becomes

overwhelming, that player needs to logoff and then return when he/she is cooled off.

[2.a] Disregard, lack of common courtesy, disrespect towards this clan, or publicly

maliciously disrespecting another clan will result in dismissal from DP.

[2.b] Utilization of Ventrillo or Team Speak as outlined in 2.a will result in dismissal from DP.

[2.c] Clan members must maintain a positive attitude when interacting with other players

and clan members at all times.

3. Membership

Players must demonstrate an active interest in the clan through game participation and email/forum communication. We expect to hear from each and everyone of you on a weekly basis. If you are going to be away for longer simply drop us a line or make a post letting us know. The purpose of this is so that we will have a good idea as to who is available for matching and who is not.

[3.a] Players must adhere to the “Code of Conduct” as outlined to remain a member of DP.

[3.b] Clan members "disappearing" for over 1 month without notifying the team through

emails or the forum will be placed on inactive status and must re-apply to rejoin.
